What are accreditation certificates?
In commercial cleaning there are many accreditations a company can apply for.
These include:
Safe contractor
CHAS
ISO 9001
ISO 14001
The British Institute of Cleaning Science
Normally these are given to large cleaning groups or companies who offer a wide range of services.
Some accreditations relate to health and safety policies or management procedures to ensure quality standards. The accreditations relating to cleaning methods are beneficial but like everything only as useful as the person using it.
Core Services has successfully provided on-going training to new and existing staff for a number of years, without needing any official accreditations. Although it is something we would be open to in the future they do incur a membership and renewal cost. Of course, any certification is only as good as the user.
